Caught the red bus at Alexander Platz and did the city tour. Weather was good so sat upstairs in the open top. You get a free set of earplugs to listen to the audio information guide. You can select your language from the list and hear the commentary, which was good. The tour took a couple of hours, which includes 2 x 12 minute stops, but the rock hard seats get uncomfortable after this long, so it's better to hop off somewhere and stretch your legs if you can. Drivers are friendly. Downside is the price. €25 PP is too much for what you get.

Really poor. Average tour, with very little to see. Especially given you can see most by underground very easily
The tour guided radio programme is really poor also. Very few facts and very little additional info. We spent €60 on a family ticket and would not recommend this trip.

This is an absolute rip off. The bus is going around a small radius that you can easily walk by yourself. It is so expensive. Save your money, buy a day ticket for a few euros and go to the sites of your choice.

Dreadful experience where we waited over an hour for a bus at Checkpoint Charlie. When one eventually arrived we were asked to leave 2 stops after as the driver had finished for the day and had to wait another half hour for the next bus.. Missed our train as a result despite us having allowed plenty of time.

The machine doesn't work, I can't listen any and I have to wait for more than 30 minutes. Very disgusting

Missed Branderburg gate due to poor management and announcements. Should have avoided the red bus tour company. Apart from Indian person, other staff seemed unwilling to assist or perhaps did not know how to. Red buses avoid. Drivers are good.

Really enjoyed this hop on hop off tour. It was the first tour we had did and we were not even planning on going on one. We had talked to one of the guys that stands at one of the stops and got interested. We enjoyed listening to the information on the places we were passing by and the earphones and recordings worked great. We stayed on the bus for the whole tour and then stayed on and started stopping at each place that was of interest to us. We were able to stop at all of the major places and really enjoyed ourselves. It was a nice sunny day so it made the experience better. The bus stops close to the places so it was not a lot of walking. I would definitely recommend if it is your first time in Berlin.
