For us, the location was perfect as it was within walking distance from Museum Island and many other tourist sites (we enjoy walking). However, it does not have a quaint inner city position, so if you're after something more like that, maybe look elsewhere. If you want a great hotel with easy access to sites and a nearby U-Bahn station - look no further.
The hotel felt quite new and was nicely furnished with a good hotel sheek. Our room, a junior suite, was brilliant. Very spacious with separate areas within one open plan space. We didn't have any spare time but I could imagine being comfortable lounging in our room for a while.
The breakfast was good, with tended tables for drinks (coffee variations) but a self serve style continental selection for food. All the usual things were available.
We only had one issue and that was that our King size bed had what seemed to be a single sized duvet and did not cover us both. We used the blanket and slept under individual covers. In hindsight, we should have raised this issue with the staff, so I mention it only as as FYI.
As feedback to the hotel, I would suggest that any room that offers a free standing bath (the shower was separate) should also offer complimentary bath salts or bubbles. A bath is just water seems much less desirable. We would have also greatly appreciated a kettle for making tea, not just a Nespresso machine.
Otherwise, a great stay and a place we'd happily return.
