Good evening
I totally agreed with so many bad comments about the lady selling candles - but she is still working there ... After three years we had the pleasure to see her the same unpolite as before.
Why no one can change and replace her ?

Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ (Свято-Воскресенский собор) is a small orthodox Russian cathedral located at the edge of Hohenzollerndamm in Wilmersdorf, district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district of Berlin. The cathedral was built between 1936 and 1938 according to Karl Schellberg's plans in the Hohenzollerndamm, near the old Russian cathedral.

(Translated by Google) This cathedral is the largest church in Podgorica, which has long been one of the most important symbols of the Montenegrin capital. The Cathedral of the Resurrection is a place of worship of rank and name. Because in all of Montenegro, this church is even the largest Orthodox church in the country.

At the end of the 20th century, Serbian Patriarch Pavle, Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople Bartholomew I and Amfilohije Radovic as Serbian Orthodox Metropolitan of Montenegro and Littoral decided to lay the foundation stone of the Resurrection Cathedral.

On August 9, 1993, these important patriarchs and metropolitans dedicated the church. About half a year later, the Russian Orthodox Patriarch Alexios II celebrated a liturgy based on this foundation.

The masters of architecture created a work of art that already occupied a constructed area of u200bu200bapproximately 1,270 square meters. The 4,000 square meters of total area of u200bu200bthe interiors were built on a cruciform plan. The undisputed highlight of the main hall is the approximately 35.50-meter-high dome, which is decorated with a four-meter-high golden cross.

At the main entrance there are two bell towers, each 26.70 meters high, which are made up of a total of 17 bells. The largest of these bells weighs an incredible eleven tons. There are even two chapels built into the ground floor of the two bell towers, dedicated to Saints Jovan Vladimir and Simeon Mirotovici. The highlight of the Mirotovici Chapel is undoubtedly the old renovated baptismal font, which comes from the old Zlatica monastery near Podgorica.

The interior of the church is decorated with carefully crafted mosaics, icons, frescoes and wood carvings, providing a deep insight into the Christian-Orthodox heritage of Montenegro from the early Christian era to the modern era.

A special feature of the frescoes in the interior also catches the eye from the first moment. Because all these little works of art were engraved on a gold background. The multitude of frescoes is impressive. Because here the paintings occupy an area of u200bu200babout 6,200 square meters. Numerous floor mosaics and wall mosaics line the Church of the Resurrection. The main entrance is also lined with a mosaic depicting the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The highlight of the basement is the beautiful crypt, which is also partially decorated with frescoes.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful images, sincere service, an average church. I liked the service and the sermon very much, it warmed my heart to tears. I long for the churches in my homeland, but here the Orthodox churches are far away. How to breathe home. Thank you for a piece of home warmth
