While randomly scouting for a good breakfast joint near pichelsberg we came across this place.
They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoors gives you a feeling of an old cafe with an archaic showcase, cuckoo clock and grandfather clock with beautiful paintings in between.
The owner of the place is very friendly, warm and welcoming. As we don't speak German, we tried our best to communicate and the owner was patient and tried to understand us with a smile.
There are various breakfast options to choose from, you can either go for the most basic to a lavish one. We took the breakfast for 2 and it costed us 14eur which is very good.
The food was fresh specially the cheese, cold cuts and the fruits. Bread was a day old I guess, I would have loved if it was softer but still tasted good and I was happy with it.
We had coffee and hot chocolate, I loved the coffee with milk. It was subtle and soothing!
All in all if you want a calm, warm and welcoming place with hearty breakfast and with birds chirping around then this is a must try!
