We were recommended this restaurant by the staff of the technology museum, and we don't regret. It is an example of authentic German restaurant. Food is excellent and the waitress was super friendly.

Was hard to find a place to get dinner on a Sunday evening in the area, and we ended up in here getting food and drinks. The staff was extremely attentive and welcoming.

Beers were great as you would expect in Berlin. The currywurst was nice, I would just have loved to get more curry powder.

Giving this place 3 stars only because the staff and service was horrible. Waited so long just to get our menus and I felt it was deliberate because they served the other people who were locals first? Had to go personally to the counter to ask for the menu then they served us after a good 15 minutes of waiting. And then paid them in cash and they assumed that I was tipping them when they didn’t inform me that they were taking the tips. they also got one of our orders wrong. The food was great but the service and staff left such a sour taste in my mouth that we won’t come back anymore :)

Incredibly rude staff, accusing us of not tipping enough despite the fact that we were a) still sorting out the change between us for paying therefore hadn't yet paid our tip and b) only ordered a few beers between us. The service was also very slow.

The staff then suggested we went to the cocktail bar around the corner as it was cheap (it's one of the most expensive places in the area) and to stay away from the Irish bar as its expensive and dirty. Naturally we went to the Irish bar which was not only cheaper but actually friendly.

One of out worst experiences in Berlin.
