Very good steakhouse!

Saw some reviews about bad service which I not agree

While we waiting for a table we got a small refreshment as a small glass of red wine. I do not trink so the manager came back with a glass of apple juice.

Very nice staff

Good steak I ordered a medium rare Rumpsteak. It was very nice, very well grilled, after finishing the dish not much " bloody" plate left which I see with other restaurant a lot.

Great steak!
We also took the Gulash soup and it was delicious.

Really bad steaks. They were very dry and overcooked. This is definitely not worth the money they take for any of their dishes. Also very stressful service - and the waiters were much in a hurry. All in all cannot recommend if you want a steak.
Poor rib-eye was destroyed.

Not coming back.

Nice salad, very fresh. Good filet mignon, high quality meat. On the pricey side. Liked the interior.

As with most Block Houses you‘ll get what you expect over and over again so I went here and got what I expected and was happy after. I would only wish for the Steaks to be a bit bigger. Other than that the service was on point and the potato gratin fabulous. Funny thing, I saw a couple of folks eating the Block House Burgers... however right underneath is a Jim Block Burger restaurant????. Yeah anyways I can recommend this restaurant!
