Honestly the most disgusting thing I’ve ever eaten but I guess I just don’t like oysters. The place was very clean and the staff friendly and I’m pretty sure this is what oysters are supposed to taste like. Still, remembering my meal I just wanna gag, it was very rough to get through I’m sure my soul left my body at some point. I recommend trying just one oyster to first-timers. Champagne was delicious though and the service excellent. Minus one star though because the atmosphere was loaded with stress and agitation

I rate this better than Selfridges or Harrods in London - great atmosphere adjacent to the most amazing food hall in Europe. The oysters were superb. We tried french and local German oysters. The champayne was also great. Great pit stop!

Hello everyone ! Today visited austernbar. Food is really nice ( asked 7 variances of oysters favorite : is tarbouriech und fines de Claire )
Vine and champagne are good (KADEWE CHAMPAGNER ROSE) , expensive but good. HOWEVER SERVICE IS AWFUL, they are always in a hurry ( don’t listen ( running away for next customer) , make mistakes with amount of oysters and food. They didn’t bring my Champagner for 20 minutes !!! Seems like when you don’t look old or rich enough, they don’t care …. Not satisfied. I understand Friday is a busy day, but this Preise should look after you. not still feel deprived. Sorry NO TIPS ????

Love this place for traditional oysters and champagne ritual with friends. Very friendly staff with prompt services

yeah the famous Oyster bar in the KaDeWe. I mean, of course it's fancy to sit here watch people and listen in or you just enjoy the amazing food and a sparkling glass of champaign. However, the experience was not as good as expected. Had to wait a little to get seated but that was absolutely fine. Afterwards we were forgotten. Took 15mins to receive the menu and after our drinks and food got delivered took another 30mins after we finished to get anyones attention to pay. Definitely not the service I was expecting.

This is an institution, a nice experience. There is a selection of origin, which is unusual for oysters in Berlin. Really enjoyed the once from Sylt. Also tried from Ireland and Netherlands. Wine selection is nice and really well priced, PicPoul is a really nice choice. Service is ok, not excellent. Card payment accepted. It gets busy so expect some waiting time.
