It's a real cute park with some nice ample spaces to sunbathe as well as some picnic tables.
With a nice playground with sand, it's definitely suitable for kids, and a substantial part of this area is shaded by trees for the most part of the day.
Definitely pay a visit if you are in the area, though I am not exactly sure whether it is worth the climb uphill, if you have to do it without a car.
