Some of the food didn't taste bad. However food handling had me concerned. I had the buffet and I was there right when restaurant opened for dinner. Some items I felt were sitting there unheated from when they closed after lunch. Not ice cold or warm. Other foods like the chicken strips were the same. I will not be going back due to food safety.

Being a vegetarian is going to reduce options to have in this special restaurant. Overall, the option to have a buffet is good choice and You can get all varieties including starter, main course and desert. But if you are going with a big group, the location is perfect and You have a lot of space to spend Your time

Good seafood selection on the Mongolian grill and sushi rolls. Service staff was very pleasant as i was alone and actually talked to me in good english. Some dishes had some actual spiciness which i find hard to come by in Germany.

Good food. Authentic kitchen. Real tea. Fair prices. Has a large terrace too.
I was with chinese ad they liked it.
Enough parking space. But you might consider using the "Wuppertaler Schwebebahn" which is right next to it. Exit Pestalozzistrasse.

While in Wuppertall for a day, I ended up in Tai Lake restaurant. I ate from the afternoon buffet. I am used to eating a lot of spicy, as in real Asian spicy, food. I ate no meat/fish/chicken. All seemed well while in the restaurant, but soon afterwards I felt really unwell for quite a lot of hours, actually through to the next day. I have never experienced headaches after an Asian dinner before, normally I also do not experience any. I am assuming they used a bit too much E621 in preparing their dishes, which gave the dishes a great taste, but I hope Tai Lake will take more care when preparing dishes and sauces and use less MSG. Staff was okay. Toilets clean.

Nice food.. very nice food and all food are very nice.

Good food, lot of varieties in gala dinner. Nice ambience. Guest service could be better but no complains.
