Stunning place! This is my favorite museum in Europe...
I have Been here twice, they always display explanations about temporary exhibitions so even if you don't have a background, you can easily understand and appreciate on your level the exhibition.
They have a good collection of Modern Art, German painters especially.
You can find there one of the most famous painting of La Renaissance to me "Roma Antica".
If you happen to be in Stuttgart, go there it is only a few blocks away from Stuttgart Hbf

Really nice. For students under 21 it's free. It's a pretty hot in there but that's important for the paintings so keep that in mind when you dress. It also has a nice giftshop. The staff was very nice as well, and they answered a lot of questions that we had.

Good collection, Wednesday the tickets are free but for some collections u have to buy so better to buy the tickets earlier so u can go with flow! The Vedio game kind of thing was good

An amazing experience! I spent the whole day there for free, as I am a student under 20 years of age. There is a vat variety of art from different eras, as well as ever-changing galleries. An unique experience and sincerely one of the best museums I've visited as of so far. Would recommend.

You need to spend at least an hour here if you enter. The museum provides descriptions in English as well. You can view paintings from the 14th century from mostly European artists and they have a special section featuring some of germanys finest photographers as well.

A nice collection of several modern art, specifically some works of Jackson Polllock, Andy Warhol, Picasso and some paintings of 17th and 18th century

Very nice collection, many different period and super famous artists. Just a pity that we could not get audio guides.
