“Non smoking room” reeked heavily of smoke upon opening the door. Building is run down and dirty. Bathrooms are moldy and gross. On top of this, the maid kept trying to unlock our door every 20 minutes hours before our checkout. Do not recommend.

If you need a place in Stuttgart, this is an inexpensive place to stay one or two nights in.
It is nothing special, the bathroom is in the hallway, but what can you expect for 40 EUR in the middle of the city?!
Late check in - until 21:00, check out - until 10:00.

When I got to my room, the breakfast surprised me. It was a bit strange that everything was so prepared. This is not my case and so I was glad that I had already arranged to meet for breakfast the following day. The breakfast was completely packed in plastic on a tray in the room. I should bake the rolls myself in a microwave.

The room was small but clean and fine for the night. It was loud out in the street, but I could come to terms with that.

Then I had to go to the toilet…. I've seen a lot, and I basically have no problem with the shower and toilet in the corridor. But what awaited me from you dwarfed everything I had seen so far. Old, dirty and moldy, I hardly dared to touch anything. The shower was also just scary and I was glad that I had showered at home before leaving.

All the other guests I saw or heard were unfortunately not very trustworthy for me. The dark appearance of the guests contributed to the fact that I felt very uncomfortable and preferred to lock the door twice. The snoring of a roommate in the next room accompanied my night with music. Only loud Arabic-sounding male voices could be heard in the hallway and from the rooms.

I was glad that I was picked up at 6:30 the next morning and that the night was over. I had booked the next night, but spontaneously changed my mind and did not stay with you as originally planned.

For € 40 a night, I don't expect a 5-star hotel or 3-star. I have often stayed in youth hostels, where there was always a breakfast buffet and a clean shower and toilet, sometimes in the hallway, sometimes in the room, for the same price. I don't expect much for the price, but cleanliness and a little more comfortable atmosphere would have been nice.

I emailed my experiences including photos to the Pension Riehle. There was no concession and no discount on the part of the pension. Booked 2 nights, paid for 2 nights, defies underground conditions!

Zuerst das Positive: Die Kommunikation via Mail und Telefon verlief immer freundlich und zuverlässig, so wie man sich das als Besucher einer Pension wünscht. Auch die „Schnitzeljagd“ zum Schlüssel hat perfekt funktioniert und ich habe meinen Schlüssel ohne Probleme gefunden. Vielen Dank dafür.

Im Zimmer angekommen überraschte mich das Frühstück. Etwas seltsam war es schon, dass alles so vorbereitet war. Mein Fall ist das nicht und so war ich froh, dass ich mich für den Folgetag bereits zum Frühstück verabredet hatte. Das Frühstück war komplett in Platik verpackt auf einem Tablett im Zimmer stehend. Die Brötchen sollte ich in einer Mikrowelle selbst aufbacken.

Das Zimmer war klein aber sauber und für die Nacht in Ordnung. Draußen auf der Straße war es laut, aber damit konnte ich mich arrangieren.

Dann musste ich auf Toilette…. Ich habe schon viel gesehen, und ich habe grundsätzlich kein Problem damit, dass sich Dusche und WC auf dem Gang befinden. Aber was mich bei Ihnen erwartet hat, stellte alles bisher gesehene in den Schatten. Alt, dreckig und schimmelig, ich habe mich kaum getraut etwas anzufassen. Auch die Dusche war einfach nur gruselig und ich war froh, dass ich vor meiner Abreise noch zuhause geduscht hatte.

Alle weiteren Gäste, die ich gesehen oder gehört habe, waren für mich leider nicht sehr vertrauenerweckend. Das dunkle Erscheinungsbild der Gäste trug dazu bei, dass ich mich sehr unwohl gefühlt habe und die Tür lieber 2x abgeschlossen habe. Das Schnarchen eines Mitbewohners im Nebenzimmer hat meine Nacht musikalisch untermalt. Auf dem Flur und aus dem Zimmern drangen ausschließlich laute arabisch klingende männliche Stimmen.

Ich war froh, dass ich bereits um 06:30 Uhr am nächsten Morgen abgeholt wurde und dass die Nacht vorbei war. Die nächste Nacht hatte ich zwar gebucht, mich aber spontan umentschieden und nicht wie ursprünglich geplant wieder bei Ihnen verbracht.

Für 40 € die Nacht erwarte ich kein 5-Sterne-Hotel und auch keine 3 Sterne. Ich habe schon oft in Jugendherbergen übernachtet, dort gab es für den gleichen Preis immer Frühstücksbuffet und eine saubere Dusche und ein sauberes WC, manchmal auch auf dem Gang, manchmal im Zimmer. Ich erwarte für den Preis nicht viel, aber Sauberkeit und ein bisschen mehr Wohlfühlatmosphäre wären schön gewesen.

Meine Erfahrungen habe ich inkl. Fotos an die Pension Riehle gemailt. Es gab seitens der Pension kein Entgegenkommen und kein Preisnachlass. 2 Nächte gebucht, 2 Nächte gezahlt, trotzt unterirdischen Verhältnissen!

Ich übernachte hier, weil ich mehrere Tage in Stuttgart Arbeit habe. Die Pension ist zu Fuß zehn Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt, Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel direkt zum Standort gibt es nicht. Rundum sind einige Restaurants, in denen man bestimmt gut essen könnte. Das Zimmer ist hübsch eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man braucht, sogar einen Kühlschrank und eine Mikrowelle. Ein Waschbecken ist auf dem Zimmer, Toilette und Bad mit Dusche teilt man sich mit der restlichen Etage. Ich glaube, es sind acht Zimmer pro Etage. Der Check-In ging fix über die Bühne und wie die Abreise gehandhabt wird, würde direkt geklärt. Zum Frühstück, das angeboten wird, kann ich nichts sagen, da exklusive gebucht wurde. An der Rezeption kann man auch einige Kleinigkeiten zum Essen und zum Trinken kaufen, wenn es einem beliebt. Diese ist aber nicht rund um die Uhr geöffnet, wie bei einer Pension üblich.
