My room was ok, although quite cold and the pillows were hard and not very comfortable. The caretakers seem like nice folks, but the check in/check out process really leaves a lot to be desired. I arrived around 17:00 and there was nobody there. I called the hotel number and waited outside until the manager showed up. In fact, the main hotel entrance is locked most of the time, even when the receptionists are there, and you have to enter via the parking lot door… They didn’t have a “do not disturb” sign in my room so I just locked it from the inside. Both mornings of my stay, the caretaker lady just unlocked the door and came in without even knocking first. For me that’s simply unacceptable. Then, at checkout (11:00am), there was nobody at the reception once again and the elevator was turned off - that’s something they do when they are gone, since it goes down to the reception area. For €95 a night, I’d expect better hospitality. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I believe they mean well, but they certainly need much improvement in the way they run this hotel.
