Review of the food and service, as too close to (Stuttgart) home to ever stay there.
We ate in the garden, partly obcured by a hedge but not once did we feel forgotten about by the servers. Very good and friendly service.
The food however wasn't good, it was excellent. We're not meat eaters, so the veggie curry stood out on the menu and we weren't disappointed. Whoever put that plate of food together knows what they are doing. Perfectly cooked veg and rice, with a light sauce that added spice but didn't dominate the dish.
Its a short walk for me but it's also opposite the Sonnenberg UBahn, so easily accessible too. Highly recommended. I'll be back.

Second time staying here as it is in close proximity to relatives of mine living in Sonnenberg. This place is brilliant! The rooms are spotlessly clean, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the food is great. Extremely reasonably priced for the service you get! S-Bahn is right outside the door too! Would highly recommend ????????

I expected more quality from the dishes which were just ok. We arrived 40minutes before kitchen closing and even we ordered and eat fast we couldn't have any dessert because they didn't ask us for it and when we asked they said it was too late ( lack of interest on clients needs in my opinion). They also made mistake and brought us one wrong dish and both glasses of beer smelt tobacco. Appart from this, everything was ok.

Conveniently located close to the Sonnenberg Stadtbahn station. We visited the restaurant not the hotel or the bar which are both located on the premises. The staff was friendly, the food was good but not exceptional. I cannot say much about African cuisine, but there seems to be a wide range of choice, however, the quantity could be a tad more.

Very nice place. Great Biergarten and very friendly staff.
