I'll start by saying this is my first time in Germany and I have zero knowledge or expertise with German cuisine. I chose to sit inside for a different experience. It wasn't very busy inside or outside for a Sunday afternoon about 1:00pm.
I had the Linsensalat mit rinderbrust (lentil salad with beef brisket) and it was outstanding. I also had the Mousse au chocolat for dessert and it was really good.
The service was exceptional and a few of the servers spoke English very well so I had zero issues.
