We LOVED it. The waitstaff always smiled and spoke great English. We had a great table and our first experience with Nuremberg food will be tough to beat. Highly recommend!

I had the platter of 8 sausages, and while it's my first bratwurst in Germany, I thought it was delicious! A nice, smaller meal if you're on the go. The service was wonderful, super friendly, and very quick! This place is in an excellent location, especially if you're waiting for one of the underground tours, since the entry for that is practically next door. They have some neat artwork inside, too. I would definitely come back!

Very nice place to sit back and have a drank and enjoy the scenery and people watching. Easy going staff. Perfect location. Filled with all kinds of history.

Really professional service, and a really warm welcome that sat the standard for our visit.

Professional staff, who served well composed dishes. This was really a positive surprise among many not-so-well managed "restaurants" in the area.

Highly recommended if you want a really nice experience in the middle of a heavy tourist district.

A perfect view of the square in front of the fortress and Castle..

Incredibly juicy Scheufele! Service is on top of it as well, overall 5 out of 5

Loved this place. The sausage taster starter was brilliant and almost a meal in itself, the pork shoulder well tasty and crackling spot on. The local beer also was very good, as was the apple crumble and ice-cream. The staff were also very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was full when we arrived but they made a spot for us. Definitely going back there when next in Nurnberg.

This is a traditional Franconian restaurant near the Albrecht Duerer Haus in Nuremburg. Opening hours are 12pm to 11pm (Wed to Sun), 5pm to 11pm (Mon and Tues). There are multiple floors with indoor seating as well as outdoor seating used during warmer weather.

Interior is decorated in traditional manner, menu features an expected range of local and traditional dishes. During our lunch here we shared a plate of 8 Nuremburg sausages with boiled potatoes and sauerkraut along with a couple different types of mustard. All tasted just fine. Service was polite, a bit slow at times as they served numerous tables. However, we didn't mind as we needed to warm up from the cold outside.

Overall, we found Zum Albrecht Duerer Haus to be a good place for lunch, not one of our favourite places tried during our visit to Nuremburg but nothing bad either.
