A gate that leads to the castle.
The area is quite interesting with the tower, a hare statue and a Bavarian style building.
The path through the gate was covered with a few holes for light. It leads out to a path above the garden to the castle.

Well preserved and attractive 13th-century city gate, section of the old wall and square in Nuremburg where you'll find the Albecht Durer Haus, restaurants, interesting sculpture representation of Durer's Young Hare and other interesting things to see and experience during time spent sightseeing around the city.

Nice little place in Nuremburg. We stopped here on our walk from the Kaiserburg to the Weißgerbergasse. The Albrecht-Dürer-Haus is right next to it.

The Tiergärtnertor in Nuremberg is a gate and part of the Nuremberg city u200bu200bwall . The name of the gate comes from a former game enclosure of the burgrave in the nearby city moat.

One of the nicest looking squares in town. On sunny warmer days it's great to grab a beer and have it outside here, be it at a table or sitting on the cobble stone floor.
