Texans here. We rolled in here late Friday night. This was the best food we have had in the week we have stayed in Bavaria. Great venue, quiet at night, fantastic service. We had some great memories made here.

This was by far my best dining experience in Nüremberg so far. I had the Pfefferbraten and it was incredibly tasty. My photos don't do the taste justice. The staff was friendly and spoke English when our German broke down. They also took card! This was incredibly well priced for such a good meal. I would absolutely go again and would recommend to others!

Cozy Franconian cuisine restaurant. Five minutes walk from the south entrance to the Nuremberg Central Rail Station. Friendly staff. Very tasty. Definitely good beer! Our family was very satisfied. We will be happy to come back here again.

SO LECKER!!! i haven't been in sooo many german restaurants in nürnberg but for now it's my favorite one until i find anything better although i'm not so sure... i ordered the käsespätzle because i am vegetarian and they were super good i loved them. they came with a small salad also really good. the beer was good also and the workers really nice although they wouldn't talk to us in german even though i can speak german but well whatever maybe they wanted to practice english. anyway i would absolutely recommend this restaurant, you can pay with credit card it's 10/10

What fabulous meals in a genuinely German Oma's setting. We enjoyed our first meals here; snitzel and cordon bleu, so much that we came back the second night and enjoyed the most tender, tasty roulade.
Great staff, fabulously passionate owner, cold beers and wine - you're in for a genuine treat eating here.
Please come to Australia - our restaurant scene needs you!!!!

Best food I had while in Nuremberg. Large portions, fair prices, and quiet restaurant. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

The place takes card and contactless pay as well, which is hard to find in Nuremberg.

The first impression is kind of "how old is this place" but then you will be pleasantly surprise. Come and taste the "hunter" experience - this is a place where you will find mainly "meat courses" - cooked in a creative way! There are also side dishes/ starters like small salads and vegetarian dishes (really for the "small hunger") Didn't try the dessert, but I'm sure that they are A+
