Nuremberg is a very vibrant and historically very interesting city. The food everywhere is very nice but filling! And of course the beer !! There are loads of interesting places to visit within a short train or tram ride.

The hotel itself is fine, but I had a terrible experience there in December 2021. My main complaint is that there are literally no employees present in the hotel anytime after 8AM-12PM! The first problem I experienced with them was that due to their inexplicable staff hours, I was told that when I arrived nobody would be there so my key would be located in a safe outside the hotel entrance. Ok. I arrive and open up the safe, but the key is not there. I go inside the hotel, and luckily someone actually was still there and was able to give me my key, but what if they had not been there? What would I have done?

My major problem occurred the day I was supposed to check out. Check out is at 11AM. That morning I had to go out to get a covid test to fly back home, I ate an early lunch, and lost track of time so that when I arrived at the hotel to grab my stuff, my keycard locked me out. The way they have it designed, you cannot even enter your floor from the elevator without a working key card. All of my belongings were locked away and my train to Frankfurt was leaving in less than 2 hours. Because it was past staff working hours, nobody was available to let me in.

I was panicked knowing my stuff was inaccessible and there was absolutely no one to contact for help. I finally found an emergency number to call but nobody would answer. I must have called 7 times. I was 30 minutes from getting on my train to another city as I figured I just had to leave my things behind when I decided to call one last time. A woman finally picked up, I explained what happened, and she came to the hotel to let me in. I am incredibly thankful for her and tipped her 50 Euros. I fully understand I screwed up by not checking out on time, but this could happen to anyone because the staff only work there for 4 hours in the morning. What if I had just simply lost my room key? Nobody would have been there to help me, and their emergency number is not answered in a timely manner, if at all. Their working hours are ridiculous and dangerous. I would never stay there again because of this. Travelers beware.

I initially booked my reservation a couple of months prior. 4 nights before my scheduled arrival, I received a message saying the hotel wasn't providing breakfast (despite including it in their rate) and that a negative covid test less than 24 hours old was required or proof of vaccination no older than 6 months. We complied with German laws upon entry into Germany. We were vaccinated 7 months ago and would have been in the country for a week before even making it to this hotel. I'm all about covid vaccines, precautions and mask wearing. If this hotel wants to have these regulations, fine, but they need to make that clear to guests when booking and not 4 days before arrival. I canceled my reservation.

Nice room and a super location just blocks from the Christmas markets. Would have given it five stars, but we were charged €40 for breakfasts, even though we were told upon checking in that the breakfast buffet was included. Would have gotten a local pastry and espresso for half the price had we known...

Perfect location, there are many restaurants, shops and nigh clubs on short walking distance. The hotel is very clean and the rooms too. The staff was very friendly and polite. I'm not giving five stars only because there was no fridge and iron in the room, also there is no much space in the wardrobe and there was only two hangers. We needed to keep most of our suff in the suitcases.

Very well positioned in the south center part of the city. It doesn't look really like a hotel, reception is on the 2° floor, so it looks like to enter an apartment. No hotel atmosphere at all. Room very clean, we got a nice view on the front church.

Great hotel in the centre of the city. Nice sized rooms with a/c. Friendly staff. Great place if you want to discover Nuremberg. Lots of bars and cafes around the hotel.
