All I wanted was a cappuccino, but instead had an unfortunate experience speaking with the Bialetti Germany sales man - an old sleaze-bag, who thinks he’s very funny. The guy was visiting as this is one of his accounts. I’m usually open to speak to people and engaged in the classic “where are you from” u0026 “how long have you lived here” questions. He thought it was funny to shame me for not speaking German, even though I spoke in German perfectly to order my coffee. He then smirked and looked disguised at me for being able to speak fluent Russian. He thought it was perfectly fine to get extremely close to me when speaking and thought it was ok to touch my face. What is it with certain, older men thinking women are like dogs you can pet and touch without asking? He also did it to the woman working behind the counter, though she knew him and seemed to be fine with it. When I told her after he was annoying, she agreed “he talks a little too much” but also said in general people who speak English all the time are lazy. If you want customers to come back, maybe try not to insult them? The coffee was ok, a bit bitter for my taste, better to go to a Rösterei. This street is very nice but whole experience made me extremely annoyed.
