Trödelmarkt is a small and quaint island in the middle of the Petnitz River in the city centre of Nuremburg. You'll find a few nice statues on the island as well as attractive shops and restaurants. We had a good meal at Trödelstuben and would happily eat there again.

There are several bridges that link St. Sebald District (north) and St. Lorenz (south) to Trödelmarkt. These include the historic Karlsbrücke to the north and south as well as the roofed wooden Henkersteg to the west.

We also enjoyed the decorations that were placed throughout Trödelmarkt during the annual Christmas Market which can be experienced throughout Nuremburg at this time of year.

A good and quite place to stay for a while. The staff is friendly and fast. We had several desserts and drinks. They were good but nothing special.

[Ambiente]
We took a seat outside at the riverfront and it was really beautiful. The area is not to busy and there are are not so many tourists so you can take a seat with locals and enjoy the view. This place has also seats inside and it is really nice to go here early in the morning and drink a coffee.

[Pricing]
Fair and compared to other places around there, also cheap. If you are looking for a drink or ice, go for it.

Located right next to the executioners museum which sits over the pegnitz, it is easily one of the most beautiful locations in Nürnberg. Perfect place to sit back with a drink and enjoy the view and sunshine.

The location and view are awesome. Cute quite little place by the river. Visited this place when I was in Nuremberg visiting friends and have already been there twice just for the location. Coffee tastes good but very limited choice for cake/desserts.
