Best guitar shop experience ever!

Traveled to Nürnberg just to visit BTM guitars without knowing exactly what to expect.

The store is not huge, but the selection of premium and carefully selected guitars is amazing. What is equally great, is the staff of BTM guitars - great communication skills (also in English) and a deep knowledge of the genre-appropriate guitars and good fits from the ones in stock.

We got shown around by Julian, who set us up with quite some guitars and would come back every now and then to discuss and gave great feedback. All guitars, from the cheapest to the most expensive I tried, were great to play with which is a testament to the curation process that takes place.

Didn't end up buying something on the spot, but I will for sure buy all my guitars and gear from BTM in the future. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Professional guitarists prefer to go here and with good reason. You get top service, great advice and reassurance on your purchase. The repair shop is also excellent. They've done some tricky modifications very successfully for me.

Very highly recommend! I was very impressed with the (English-speaking) service given to me by Eric. I was not rushed during my shopping time of over two hours and was given a VERY fair trade-in price for my old guitar. Thank you for such a great experience and I hope to be able to stop by again!

I do not recommend!

I lost time and money.

I bought for me (as a company) a Rickenbacker bass guitar. Guitar came to me with errors.
- scratch on the neck
- Coarse scratches on the sensor covers
- Curved connector plate
- Scratches on guitar case

The next day I informed BTM about the problems and sent photos. I got information that it's normal that it's rock n roll bass.
But I got the opportunity to order me a new sensor cover. And offer I can send the guitar back.

The next day I went on vacation where I was thinking and was frustrated by this situation. Upon arrival, I decided to return the guitar (without using guitar).
I received a message that the guitar contains small defects, but it is fully functional....(what?) and problem is becouse B2B is return policy 14 days. I was informed BTM next DAY WITH PHOTOS!

BTM deduct me 10 percent of the price from me. (approx. 250eur plus i paid postage 70eur).

Otherwise, I would not have written this review, but they are selling the same guitar again! again at full price! again with the same "small defects" and is nothing in the description about "defects" and are not visible this defects on photos!

I recommend choosing a larger supplier where you have a guaranteed refund (usually 30 days for sellers for companies and people - what I was think its normal -( I was inform BTM next day with photos! this is not 14 days??)

And where defects is not just small problems in NEW PRODUCTS!

And where is not normal sale again problem products as NEW without information in description.

These guys are super helpful u0026 let you play their guitars while their working:-) I can't say enough good stuff about this store. I am an American and I speak very little German. I bought 2 guitars and other odds and ends. When it came time for me to return to the US they gave me 2 guitar boxes at no cost.

BTM guitars is easily the best guitar shop I have ever been to. I bought my Collings D2H there. They took good care of me through the entire process. If I ever need a new guitar I would go back there for sure.

Nice shop, very friendly staff.
Great selection of mid to high end guitars got a small shop.
One of the few places in Germany with National guitars.
