A charming Bavarian restaurant, hosted by a very friendly and gracious owner. Had beers and dinner here yesterday and wished I had known about this place sooner. Delicious food, fantastic beers and very welcoming service. Would definitely visit here again when I'm in Munich. Highly recommend!

Usually I don’t go out of my way to write reviews for places I visit, but every time I travel I feel like there’s one restaurant that ends up being the one my wife and I reminisce about when we return home. Zur Festwiese will definitely be that restaurant. Eating dinner here might be the best decision we made while visiting Munich.

Great atmosphere, great food u0026 portion sizes, great prices, great staff. Easy recommendation to make for anyone visiting the city. (We’re also vegetarians, but that wasn’t a problem when it came to eating here.)

A bierstube near St Paul's church and not far from main train station. We had Risotto of the day, which was with chanterelles. It tasted very well, was perfectly cooked. The waitress was friendly and fast. You can pay with cash or card which is a plus! One minus is the price for water, way to expensive! 0,75 litre costs 6,5 euros?? We discovered that many restaurants do not accept cards i Germany! ????

Food very tasty, staff kind and attentive, beer stunning, location very nice as well. There was a little problem with a dish that was not so warm, they have prepared again, apologizing for the inconvenient. A place that I will suggest to my friends and where I will surely come back when I will be in Munich. Thank you very much.

We had a really fun Friday evening here. The bar was packed and there was a big birthday party going on, but despite being really busy the staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere and excellent food.

Great beer. The best sauerkraut I have ever had. Food was excellent. Can't wait to get back.
