A fellow student said that he don't really want to do any sports there, but would rather pay in a private club. It's a really nasty mix of people going there. Politically and personally.)

Good place to engage in various sports. The downside is that all of the courses are in German, making it harder to learn.

However, this is not the problem. The biggest problem I have with ZHS is that the online registration process is extremely hectic, and that popular courses are gone in a mater of seconds. Furthermore, trying to cancel a class requires you to deal with German customer service, which does not care much about the students, as long as they can make money; cancelling classes costs 20 euros per class. Sometimes, they also do you a favor of canceling an extra class, like the one month orientation class that is required to use the gym.

For students the subscription is 7,5€ for semester, or a bit more if you are going to do swimming sports. Then you can just sign up and attend any class you are interested in.

It's really hot inside and all of the equipment is older than most visitors. But everything works though. Also great prices for students, from 7 euro for season pass.

Perfect place to get some exercise and join fun team sports. If you are a student in munich dont miss it!!
