Great little Bavarian restaurant off the tourist beaten path. We went for veal schnitzel plates, a vegetarian main and a couple of appetizers to share including the in-season white asparagus salad and some sausages

Just completed a 10 day trip thru Germany and this was our favorite meal!! The goat cheese, dorade, and Munich cordon bleu were great.

Good service, good Bavarian food. Can be very crowded and thus noisy. Polite waiter. Good beer

Finally Maximilian is back to normal. We used to love coming here, but during Covid their quality dropped dramatically. Now the dishes are fresh and tasty again, the menu has been expanded and service is friendly. I just wish they had the Alpensau back on the menu, really missing it....will be back soon
