The name "Das Maria" wouldn't make you think it's Moroccan/Arabic cuisine, but the interior sure does. Food is tasty, yet I was a bit disappointed b/c the "Tajine" dish was cold in some places and semi hot in others, not what I expected. Taste was good, but didn't wow me at all.

Service was fast and friendly. Value for money ok-ish, not great.

I was there before and had a nice experience however not this time. The food was ok but the egg for shakshuka was hard cooked and the french toast tasted bad and there were no pomegranate on them. The price for what you get is high. The service was messy. We had a reservation and two other groups with the same size as us had reservation at the same time. However we were waiting while we were the first to arrive and the others were asked to their tables. When asked why the answer was your table is not free yet!!!! Apparently tables have names.

It was decent brunch place with its unique middle-esternish menus. I loved it a lot! Vegan omelette(Maria im Souk)was bit too salty for me, but Shakshuka(Maria in Tel Aviv) was tasty with good portion. Oh and the Mokka drink was interesting but it’s served with grainy cardamom in it just so you know.
+ Highly recommend to get a reservation in the weekend. We spontaneously went there so had to wait for around half an hour to get seats and another half an hour to get food after order????

In middle eastern cuisine, bread is key. And serving old stiff bread ruins the whole experience. We asked for fresh bread with our starters, but they just brought us overheated old bread.. and said they get the bread delivered to them..
The food overall was ok-ish.. too expensive for the quality of food. Most probably will not be going again..

Food and service was great! We got the shakshuka and the French toast. The shakshuka was well seasoned and came with a sponge like bread that absorbs the sauce beautifully. The French toast was moist and not overly sweet. Our server, Franzi, also patiently helped us translate the German menu for us and gave us great recommendations! Thank you Franzi! Will be back as soon as possible.

The food was genuinely bad (at least the food I ordered which is in the picture). Horrible combination of spices. It’s the worst thing I’ve eaten in years… I’m never returning here ever again. The personnel was kind.

Nice authentic breakfast/lunch place! A little bit pricy, but most of the dishes are made with healthy ingredients. Perfect for Vegans / Vegetarians
