Excellent informal Italian restaurant. Brilliant food, wine and service. Just across from the Mandarin Oriental hotel. All the dishes were excellent, however the ravioli with asparagus and the tiramisu were truly exceptional. Highly recommended for those who enjoy restaurants that are created for reasons other than making money….

This is the best restaurant in Munich. The owner comes to the restaurant every evening! He has two cutest bulldogs. The kitchen is a delight! The service is just super! I recommend this place!

A great restaurant! Had lovely wine. I ordered the penne pasta with calamari special that was fantastic. My group ordered the risotto special and spaghetti with olive oil and garlic - both were great. Owner and staff were very friendly, had an English menu, and the owner’s bull dogs were adorable!!

I am a solo diner. And I don't speak German. The maître d' spoke English and gave the same amount of attention to me as he did the busier/fuller tables. They have English descriptions on the menu. And the food was excellent. I had the carbonara was excellent and the ham/bacon pieces are delicious.

Excellent Italian restaurant. The owner came out and talked to us about the wine selection and his passion for sharing good wine was apparent. He steered us away from a good wine and brought us an excellent wine. He also helped us through the food menu and discussed flavors and portion sizes. This is very much a neighborhood hangout where most of the people know each other. The food and wine are excellent and the atmosphere is very friendly.

Looks like a nice place for lovers of Italian cuisine, but unfortunately, there are complaints about the kitchen and the waiter. When we asked what wine he would recommend by the glass. The waiter simply interrupted us, apparently he knows better. :) Well,maybe there is only one type of dry red wine by the glass in the restaurant. In fact, the service killed the taste and impression. While two persons were eating another one had to drool and wait for his dish. You come to the good restaurant for a good food and a good mood. I didn’t get either of those things. I saw a very cute English bulldog, it was the most nice impression about the place.

The best meal I have in Munich so far. The food is divine and the coffee is great too! Every dish is of high quality and the ambience is so cozy and relaxing.
