I am very disappointed with this place and definitely do not recommend it to not German speaking people. Among 4 or 5 waiters nobody spoke English. There was just one waiter who was sent to me to explain how the lunch menu works (he also didn’t speak English), and instead of really explaining he was just pointing with the finger names of the dishes and was saying that I can take “this and this and this” (literally everything, and it was already clear since it was a menu). Eventually without really knowing how it works and what I order I wasn’t satisfied with the dish which was brought . When I went to pay I found out that instead of lunch price of 9.70 I need to pay 16 euro. Of course it is not the money issue, but I felt like they took an advantage of me since I didn’t understand anything and didn’t even eat some dishes because didn’t know that I ordered them.
Surprisingly the lady who I was paying to immediately started to speak English even though before she refused to take an order from me motivating it with not speaking English at all. The service in this place is definitely to improve, cuz service is not only how quick you are, but also how good you are treating your customers. Speaking a bit more of English, and little smile sometimes might be enough (the lady was very grumpy- and I could see that she wasn’t even trying to smile cuz her mask was somewhere under her nose and face was really visible, so Covid also does not exist for them).
Food was good though, but not worth it with such a bad service.
