On a hot Sunday morning I saw the owner lady aggressively telling the customers to go out, wait and line outside the store.

A bit of sweetness and respect in behavior goes well with good pastry, otherwise what is it all for.

Franzbrötchen was still doughy in the middle by the way.

The best French bakery I've been to in Munich. All pastries made freshly of French butter, baked several times a day so that guests can get them directly warm from the oven. Really high quality products that the owners family choose, make the taste unforgettable. Will surely come back again when in Munich.

Probably the closest you’ll get to a french croissant without crossing the border. Their Pain au chocolate are amazing and you have to try the “Franzbrötchen”, which actually comes from Hamburg and isn’t easy to get in Munich.

Excellent pain aux chocolat ! The price was a bit high for me but it is definitely a good “treat yourself, you deserve it” kind of breakfast.

The local is cute and if you go on a nice day, you should definitely have a seat outdoors !!

One of Munich's hidden gems. They have the tastiest croissants, and raisin snails. Somehow they are always magically warm when you buy them, like they are just out of the oven!

Tiny place, with great coffee and super friendly service.

A tiny place, but the food is fantastic. They have the best croissants that I have ever tasted (made with real French butter). The owners are very friendly. Open on days that German bakeries are closed.
