So nice to be able play on nicely groomed and maintained clay tennis courts. Thank you coach Philipp for the great session yesterday; picked up a few pointers / deficiencies in my game which I will correct.

Fantastic, unpretentious tennis club next to a wonderful beer garden which often has live music on weekends should you wish to listen to music and play tennis at the same time. Not that many courts compared to other tennis locations so book early on weekends. The clay courts are well maintained. Changing room facilities are decent and the club house has drinks on offer as well as other products related to tennis. The newly refurbished area also has beach volleyball courts open in Summer.

(Translated by Google) I have had two bad experiences with Tennis Hirschau.
First, Tennis Hirschau double-booked me for a lesson. Accidents happen. However, I found the situation handled very poorly. I showed up first. When the other man showed up, they asked him if we could take the lesson together instead of just telling him that we had to take the lesson together or that we should split the lesson time. When he said no, I was told that I would either have to wait an hour to have my lesson (even though I had arrived first) or book another lesson. I was a newer client to Tennis Hirshau than the other player, but found the situation very awkward and unfairly handled. I had rearranged my work schedule and traveled 30 minutes each way to take the lesson and was turned away without any solution. After I emailed to complain, Tennis Hirschau agreed to remove court rental fees during my next lesson, but it took me asking for them to offer anything.
Second, I had to cancel a lesson 20 hours in advance, because both of my kids' kindergarten teachers got Covid. I asked to rebook the lesson at another time and was told that I couldn't rebook and would have to pay the court rental fee and the lesson fee in full. When I complained about having to pay, especially after having the experience above, I was threatened with being contacted by a debt collection agency. I found this behavior very extreme and unprofessional.
I would not recommend Tennis Hirschau, although Adres is a good teacher.

First, Tennis Hirschau booked me twice for an hour. Accidents happen. But I felt the situation was being handled very poorly. I got there first When the other man showed up, they asked him if we could take the lesson together instead of just telling him we need to take the lesson together or that we should split the lesson. When he said no, I was told I would either have to wait an hour for my class (even though I got there first) or book another class. I was a newer client at Tennis Hirshau than the other player but I found the situation very uncomfortable and treated unfairly. I had rearranged my work schedule and drove 30 minutes back and forth to take the class and was turned away with no resolution. After complaining via email, Tennis Hirschau agreed to cancel the court rental for the next hour, but I had to ask before they could offer me anything.
Secondly, I had to cancel a lesson 20 hours in advance because my children's two kindergarten teachers got Covid. When I asked to reschedule the lesson to another date, I was told that I could not reschedule and would have to pay the full court rental and tuition fee. When I complained about having to pay, especially after the experience above, I was threatened that I would be contacted by a collection agency. I found this behavior very extreme and unprofessional.
I would not recommend Tennis Hirschau although Andres is a good teacher.
