Love, love, love this place! We stay here every time we visit Munich. It's a converted old mill. Off the beaten path.

Great place, with the soul, located in a quiet place, not far from everything. Staff is amazing, breakfasts are good. Romms are big and very nice. Beds are comfortable.
The only problem I can mention is pillows, they are too soft and formless, give no support, my neck disliked them very much.

The gardens are both huge and beautiful. You really need to visit them in the Summer when the food and music picks up, to truly appreciate them. There is a central river that runs all the way through the gardens, on a sunny day you will see students swimming down the river and surfers enjoying the stronger currents upstream. The food and drink available in the park is reasonably expensive, as is to be expected, but is of a good quality and the service is decent.

perfect for a short stay. the breakfast had some room for improvement though, not much variety of warm food. was able to book last minute, directly on the website. overall a nice experience

Nothing has changed, nothing ever does. There is WiFi now, other than that it feels as though you travelling back in time into the 80s (in good shape). If you like that, you will love the timeless Charme and personal feel of this unbeatable location .

Nice, clean and quiet rooms by the "Englischer Garten" and close to the Münchner Freiheit. They also have apartments. Super location!

Good rooms with old style furniture and a kitchen. Old style check-in procedure. Average breakfast but not included. Friendly staff.
