This beer garden has a DJ and live music that gets everyone up on their feet and dancing, so it feels a bit non-traditional but it's a lot of fun. It's a beautiful location at the heart of English garden, with plenty of space even on crowded Friday evenings. Good food and great beer.

Lovely beergarden. Great playground for kids. Food was good (more expensive than average in Munich though). Definitely a great place for families. Will.be back with my kid

Nice Biergarten in the northern part of the English Garden. Not as crowded as the Chinese Tour or Seehaus, but still very popular among locals. Good option for food and very cozy location directly in the English Garden. Good stop after a bike ride.

Big and busy beer garden. Exactly what you look for going to in Bavaria.
The Food is simple but there was too little to choose from.
Already at 9pm there were only a few dishes left and if you are looking for a salad there are two options only really.

However if you are looking for a solid mug of beer and a big outdoor family friendly seating area, then this is the right place.

Despite self service, aforementioned lots of people.
It was great to sit there in a bigger group with friends.

Great biergarten serving the most excellent Löwenbräu beer and super food. Caters for everyone so no need to feel shy here! Very friendly staff. Occasionally has music and some dancing too by regular customers. Definitely worth a visit!
UPDATE!
Arrived back in July 2022 and very pleased to announce that all is as usual and the place is buzzing. Carry yourselves along to this most palatable of biergartens and enjoy!

Great space tucked away from the paths, with a nice playground that is fully fenced. The food was not super great or fresh but the atmosphere was lovely and beer a plenty.

Nice Biergarten, they are currently offering COVID testing at the entrance. What makes it very convenient. They have a playground rather big, which makes it attractive for families with small kids.
