Nice Biergarten for typical German food if you are willing to stand in long queues and get your own food. There is no table service here. Has a vast outdoor seating area.

Good spareribs and atmosphere! Nice weather when we visited and not crowded.

Absolutely wonderful, family friendly (sand pit and Spielplatz) authentic Biergarten! Consider lunch, dinner or just afternoon coffee and cake. A visit here will be a relaxing pleasure when dealing with the busyness of life in München.

A neighborhood institution. You can bring your own food and simultaneously order stuff from the beer garden. Relaxed atmosphere, no hassle. Highly recommend!

It seems like the owners disapprove of less than 4-star ratings on Google and started making accusations in comments to my post. Pretty bad business behaviour in my opinion which is similar to the on-site staff's attitude like I mentioned in my original review:
One of the bigger traditional beer gardens in Munich. It's also quite popular so it can be crowded on the weekends, during holidays and nice afternoons. Food quality is somewhat standard, I feel like the kitchen is mainly focusing on high output. Especially kitchen and bar staff are quite unfriendly. Feels more like a mainstream "cater-to-the-masses" place than a cosy, hearty garden.

This is the perfect place to spend countless hours with your friends, colleagues or family - there's anecdotical evidence that some americans where shocked that here "you can have a couple of beers next to your kid playing". :)
There's shade, there's an endless amount of (good) beer, and you can also eat some tasty food that people from other places would consider "a bit strange" at the forst glance (try the cheese mixture, then add onions)
I would - and possibly will - come here again.
