I spent two nights there and everything was ok. Room with new furniture, clean and well-kept. The hotel staff was helpful, kind and did not make any problems. Breakfasts, despite a small selection, fresh and tasty, everyone will find something for themselves. Private parking is a big advantage. Overall I recommend it, good value for money.

For German standards they seem to struggle

First the arrival:
I took a seat in the reception waiting area and waited for about 20 minutes before being greeted and they were occupied by only two guests at the reception. After, I had to wait additional time because of a shift change.
The staff is very friendly and attentive.

The room:
I‘ve booked a single room with a private bathroom and a full-size bed. Even though I basically got what I‘ve ordered, I was not aware that the room would be dominated by the pitch of the roof. After you pass the corridor, you‘re going to hit your head. When - half asleep - you stand up from the bed, you‘re going to hit your head. That roof slope was annoying.
Nonetheless the room was tidy and clean.
In the bathroom however I had spots of green mould behind the towel dryer and also on the ceiling above the shower. It seems more a visual flaw then a real health issue.

The equipment:
When I went in the evening to the community kitchen to grab a little spoon, I couldn’t find any tableware and I have opened nearly every shelf.

Excellent, excellent family hotel. You can easily get a room for 6 and not have to rent 2 rooms. The only thing missing was an 'in room' mini-refrigerator. Coffee at the desk, breakfast if you pay extra, and a VERY reasonably priced bar in the evening. Would stay again.

It got up to 97° F (37° C). The hotel has no air conditioning, which is the European norm. But the windows barely opened, and only one of them. It was so hot!! We took two cold showers each to get to sleep.
When we returned the next evening after our adventures of the day, all of the windows had their handles removed completely. There was no way to open the windows at all. Nothing had been done to our room otherwise; no cleaning, trash, or linens. They only came in to disable the windows.
Another member of our group spent part of the night in the lobby, where it was marginally cooler.
She asked about a fan, since there was neither air conditioning nor a window that would open. She was advised to take a cold shower. She said that she had indeed taken a shower. He then recommended that she jump in the lake.
We told them (the desk staff) that there was no toilet paper in the bathroom in the lobby area. We were informed that housekeeping could take care of it the next day.
The breakfast was good, and the bathroom was pretty nice.

Excellent hotel, the room was exactly as the pictures in the website, very clean, everything new and confortable. The receptionists were very welcoming and communicative. Good location and pricing. Electric scooters were always available in front of the hotel, which was cool to commute around town.

Reasonably cheap for the location. One room key did not work, there was an opened water bottle from previous guests in the room and a lot of dust under the bed. Windows can not be opened. The breakfast was good.

Alright, could do with better cleaning as there was a lot of long hairs on the shower and a little dirty bathroom. however nice rooms. Whoever installed the windows needs to be fired tho. Was very hot and you couldn't open the window but for a small crack as the handle collides with the wall. moronic installation.
