It got up to 97° F (37° C). The hotel has no air conditioning, which is the European norm. But the windows barely opened, and only one of them. It was so hot!! We took two cold showers each to get to sleep.
When we returned the next evening after our adventures of the day, all of the windows had their handles removed completely. There was no way to open the windows at all. Nothing had been done to our room otherwise; no cleaning, trash, or linens. They only came in to disable the windows.
Another member of our group spent part of the night in the lobby, where it was marginally cooler.
She asked about a fan, since there was neither air conditioning nor a window that would open. She was advised to take a cold shower. She said that she had indeed taken a shower. He then recommended that she jump in the lake.
We told them (the desk staff) that there was no toilet paper in the bathroom in the lobby area. We were informed that housekeeping could take care of it the next day.
The breakfast was good, and the bathroom was pretty nice.
