If you’re in Munich for Oktoberfest I strongly do not recommending staying with stoke travel. The tents were grimy, the facilities were hazardous, and the food was probably even worse. That being said, the staff was nice and you get unlimited beer, but I think the idea is so drink so much that you’ll be able to pass out anywhere. The campsite was about 5 miles from the city center and using public transport took about an hour to get near the festival. For the same price or even less you can get a arbnb or hostel much closer to the city center. First time ever trying stoke and will definitely be the last.

You know you're onto something good when the party at the campground is almost better than the party at the beer halls. Traditional camping style accommodation with food and alcohol included. It's loud, it's busy, but that's part of the fun of it. It's a party atmosphere, especially on the weekends. If you're after budget accomm but a quiet vibe, stay here during the week. If you want a party atmosphere, book for the weekends. Great for a very memorable experience!

It was a lot of fun. There were free drinks all day (mimosas, beer, and the best sangria). The food from the red truck at the entrance was amazing. Wicked Things Band played when we were there and they were awesome! It did get a little chilly at night in the tents so do cover up.

Everything you expect from the information and advertisements. Tents are two person. Breakfast with mimosas are free every morning. Showers usually have long lines in the morning. Staff is kind and helpful. It gets cold in Munich this time of year so make sure you are prepared for that. Transportation to/from Oktoberfest is a little long. Takes about 30-40 mins via public transit. Giving it 4 stars because I think it's probably a bit expensive for what it is. Especially because the food they have at the campsite and late night drinks (past 11pm or so) are a bit pricey for Germany.

Overall I would recommend if you don't mind sleeping in a tent and don't want to spend loads on accomodations like a hotel in Munich. But I'd say a couple/few days are more than enough to get your feel for Oktoberfest and for the tents.

Fun party campsite vibes which was exactly as described online. However, for the price, I was expecting more. The breakfast every day was the same and any other food to buy was expensive too. You even had to pay for hot water in the shower. I just felt that for the price, showers and drinks minimum should be included.
For those on the fence, I will say if you’re not a complete party animal don’t stay here. Its what we were expecting, but there were no quiet hours and it was really only somewhat quiet from 3-6am. This left us extremely tired for the actual fest so keep in mind.
The tents were small but comfortable, and it gets freezing at night so bring warm clothes. Theres also no lockers at the campsite, only a “storage tent” where they just stack your bags in a corner behind staff. So bring a tent lock and don’t bring valuables for sure. There was also always a line for the bathrooms and showers which was a real annoyance and was probably the worst part of the experience. Never ran out of toilet paper though. Overall it was an ok time but definitely not worth the money

Had the best time! Super fun parties, live shows, unlimited booze, meeting people from all over the world, and super friendly staff! Got pretty cold in the tents at night so important to dress for the germany weather.

You will not find a better place to start and end Oktoberfest. Ignore other bad comments, I have stayed at many hostels and hotels before that get trashed and filthy as well. Stoke is a wicked campsite with bedding, tents and so much amazing entertainment! What more you get food incl as well, which I needed as I was drunk every day. You also can get free booze there if you sign up under some promo codes... and that means party time ALL the time!

You don't go to Munich to hide in a hotel or hostel, you go to have the time of your life and this place did that and more. Made friends for life and I want to be back again!
