We stayed here for ten nights in a tent without a car. In august, high season. The connection from the campsite with the public transport to Munich and surroundings was very good. We liked our spot between the trees. At some parts the campsite is next to a road which you can hear a little bit but we didn't mind this at all. The campsite was busier in the weekends but always quiet and peacefull during day and night even at the busiest. There was a little shop and a bar where you can buy/eat simple but good stuff. Nice staff and also nice meeting other guests and permanent residents of the campsite. Good beers. We also enjoyed the company of two adorable cats.
We were able to do our laundry (€5) and a showercoin is €1. Note: all though all the other facilities were good, not all showers were adequate. Some were and once we discovered which ones we were good. The facilities were cleaned regularly and were generally clean. There are two little stoves in one of the facilities that you can use to cook. If you are a pedestrian or cyclist you can come and go at any time, no restrictions on a certain time that you have to be back at the campsite at night.
Staying here was affordable, practical and comfortable, we can recommend when visiting Munich!

Come here for the booze and the live band - leave for everything else.
Lovely staff, horrible facilities and accommodation.

If the price was more reasonable I'd recommend higher, but we spent £60 per night for essentially a field and a bottomless tap.

Also, for the love of God don't eat the breakfast served; you'll be playing Russian roulette on your stomach. On the flight back I got horribly sick, and would never wish that experience on my worst enemy. Short answer: buy your own food.

Overall, a good experience.

We stayed on this campsite for an octoberfest experience. There was only one main toilet block that we knew about. It was vile. The showers were terrible and not adequate for daily use. We even paid a euro but the water was still cold. And for the amount of people the 5 toilets were too few.

Before driving here, we called to ask if there would be any spots left or if we could make a reservation.

They told us that there would be a spot left, and we should just drive there. When we arrived, we were told it was full and we can't get in.

Also, no toilet paper at the wc.
