Great food, awesome beer and atmosphere. I hear some people complaining about waiters being rude. Well, if you expect the typical American over the top fake politeness then yeah, you won't find it here. Instead, you'll get very helpful and honest staff.

Typical Bavarian food - large variety of beer, Spanferkel, Klopse, Kartoffelsalat, other meat, vegetables... 600 years old, very authentic, two floors, nice atmosphere. Can accommodate events for 100 people. Good choice to eat after Blütenburg Castle. Strongly recommend.

This is Munich's oldest Wirtshaus for a reason: the food is excellent and very good value!

Great atmosphere, good food and most importantly great beer. Prices are reasonable. The waitress can be sometimes rude. Love the käsesptäztle!

Glass of wine had lipstick on it. When we pointed this out to the waiter, the next glass had rubbed off lipstick on it. But the third glass was lipstick free. They should not have charged us for the glass but they did. Otherwise the food and service was good. But the lipstick ordeal means only 3 stars.
