It’s not a true hotel. It’s an apartment building turned into a 3 star hostel. Maybe a 2 start Hotel. There is no proper entry. The front door is locked like to an apartment building. One has to wait for someone to open it. There is no parking. There is limited and costly street parking. No mini fridge. No water cattle. No coffee maker. No restaurant. No elevator to the first floor. One has to carry luggage to the second floor where the elevator is. The bathroom is so tiny that you can’t take your clothing off without stepping out of it. How can this be described as a hotel? The hallway is old with creepy floors and some rug over it in the middle of the hallway. You can hear everything through the door. And then there is the streetcar noise outside. It’s an insane place. A hostel maybe. This is a 2 star hotel maybe. But not what they advertise.

Great hotel but not recommended in warm temperatures because it lacks air-conditioning.Only drawback besides heat was the street noise. Great breakfast, rooms, and service. Enjoy the garden.

Staff was very friendly, location was amazing. The staff supplied us with ice when we requested it to chill some wine and drinks since there was no mini fridge. The rooms were big enough, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast options were fair and light. The garden was nice.

The hotel is in great shape, but we went with a 4 as there were just two things that some people might want that were not present. The showers were clean and effective, but on the small side. They are definitely space efficient.
There is no air conditioning. That was not a problem as we were there in mid September when the weather turned cool so we just opened the window and it was wonderful. I really liked sitting in the window and just watching the people walk by.

The cable cars run by the hotel all night, but it's not that bad. Parking here can be a challenge, but keep looking for street parking. You can park for 24 hours for 6 euros which is crazy cheap for anywhere in Europe. The nearest garage is a bit of a walk and was 40 euros a day. The hotel is easily in walking distance of U stations, bus stops, cable car stops, mid town, the English garden, all the great spots. There is also a small grocery store down the block which is great for snacks and cheap drinks. Would stay here again.

This accommodation is splendid and elegant par excellence. Quiet, cozy, comfortable, unique, clean, and friendly. The garden is marvellous, the location is superb - made for humans who love to travel more relaxed and chilled.

This is a beautiful hotel and a fantastic value. Could not ask for a better location. The rooms were lovely and quiet, the staff was really helpful, and the breakfast offerings included something for everyone. Great selections of bread and fruit. I stayed in a standard room, but the single rooms looked really nice!
We stayed here for Christmas, and they made our stay very special. The staff worked with us to locate a restaurant for Christmas Eve dinner, as we had not made reservations beforehand.

Nicely situated boutique hotel in a very distinct style. Not too pricey and very friendly staff (and a couple nice little welcome presents in the room).

The rooms are welcoming and not too small - unfortunately the toilet is given too little space, so it’s slightly uncomfortable.

My host booked me a five-night stay at the hotel for a work trip in July/August. The hotel is supposed to be nice, upscale and at a great location, which it is. Unfortunately I had a room at the second floor right next to the street. Every day the trams pass by my window every 10 minutes from 5:30 am till 12:30 past mid night. I was totally miserable because I was awakened by the trams and the street noise early in the morning every day from 5:30 am and I had long days at work. It was too hot to keep the window closed. I asked to change for a room in the back but the hotel staff told me that they don’t have any rooms. I was lack of sleep and miserable the whole time I was there, and I really resented the fact that the hotel staff put me in that room for five days without changing me to a more decent room or even had the courtesy to acknowledge the misery of their guest. It was the worst hotel experience I have had in a very long time.
