I tried CA-BA-LU on a summer evening, eating in the outside area. The place is cozy, Burgers of high quality, plenty of choice for the Burgers. Only downside was the lack of choice for fries, they mainly offer some roasted potatoes. Also not so much choice for beers but that’s normal for a burger place. Prices in line with Munich.

It is a very pleasant burger restaurant. Beer is perfect too.
Owner serves music of rock N roll,that is an important aspect nowadays, in this disgusting e-like- music culture.
One weak point: under 50 €, only cash is accepted. I kindly ask owner this is allowed?

Surprisingly average. Our meat was very dense, almost chewy. I also missed that beefy flavor that characterizes excellent, fresh ground beef. I'm sure the owner wants it this way, but I prefer my patties with an obvious ground beef texture. I thought the BBQ sauce wasn't smokey enough. The rosemary potatoes were... Soft and the cream on top was... Cheesy? Great location right off the Lehel U-Bahn station, very cozy seating inside and out. Attentive and friendly service. I'll be back if I'm in the area, but won't go out of my way to eat here. Sorry!

Really good burgers, nice variety of both burgers and drinks. The owner wouldn't accept card payment (cash only) which is highly inconvenient and not customer friendly hence the one notch downgrade. Otherwise, 4/5 for good burgers and the cozy atmosphere.

the burgers were great, great ratio of flavors of vegetables, meat, sauce etc. Even the pastries are great made. The only complaint is the potatoes which had a weird taste and their beer is more expensive unlike other places I’ve been. General atmosphere outside was OK. grade 4.5

A very lovely place with an easy access by U-bahn or tram.
The personal is friendly and will serve you with a big smile.
The food is also very delicious, there is enough variety for everyone's tastes and even the drinks are quite good.

We'll definitely come back here!

Nice small burger place. Excellent Burgers and drinks and a super friendly owner! Will definitely go there again!
