Cozy little bar in the heart of Munich. This bar reminds me of Berlin so much and that makes it very dear to me. At first glance I thought it was just a bar but I was surprised at the variety of German, Italian and Indian dishes with some vegetarian options. Talk about a hidden gem.
Love it here and will definitely visit again.
The food was also quite cheap and very tasty. Value for money 10/10

If you do not like crowded bars with a lot of chatter then Schall u0026 Rauch may not be the one for you.

Chicken Tikka and Mutton Seekh Rolls/Wraps-- would you believe it if I told you they've nailed the Indian flavor?!!

We had them for takeaway, it was served with a generous portion of salad. The taste was amazing and so authentic, better than a lot of the Indian restaurants even and the salad was so crunchy.

Would definitely visit again and recommend it to anyone missing the Indian kaati rolls.

Used to be a very frequent client and didn’t pay attention to some of the flaws due to the very good service and food. This is however less and less the case… as some others have mentioned, it’s neither the cleanest place nor has the best service. Depending on the day, even when there aren’t many people (which would be an excuse) it takes forever to be served and some waiters can be really rude and careless. Sometimes you receive your plate and wait forever to get a fork or knife or what have you. I used to bring friends and family here and now I won’t recommend this place anymore. Very sad. Not to mention I was never charged for tap water when eating and drinking and lately, yes. And a lot. When I complained the waiter was rude and uneducated with his reply. Should reconsider hiring people that make your business thrive instead of driving customers away. Oh and be careful with ordering or receiving wine from an open bottle… god knows how many days it’s been left open! Three times already I’ve drank vinegar, not my usual Shiraz

Lively bar with great service. Since I don’t speak German, bartender was quite helpful in translating and explaining the Menu. Will definitely visit again.

Although they serve different styles of cuisines (Thai, Indian, standards, pasta) it’s all so good and cheap

This place is a deal!
I believe they don’t do service at the table after a certain time (maybe 21h) as it’s more a bar then

The best and most inexpensive place you will find around that area. I wouldn’t even call it a bar, their food is so good and cheap still. Service is sometimes a bit overwhelmed but to be fair it’s very busy.

Great place for breakfast and drinks in the evening. Loved the indian based cousin. Try wraps, they're ar just delicious.
