It is magnificent, totally worth it. Now, it is Enormous!! it takes 2 to 3 hours to visit the full palace, you have options to take some shortcuts during the visit, there are plenty of seats available, which seniors will appreciate. Specially impacting to witness the impact of WWII.

Don’t go in there hungry or in a rush to go to the next place.

A lot of this royal residence has been lost to history, especially during WW2, but the restoration effort to bring back some of these rooms to life is nothing short of absolutely incredible effort and talent. The sheer opulence that the monarchy and aristocrats lived in is simply unreal, and the museum ????️ only shows you a fraction of this opulence, but when you walk through this it just seems like the grandeur never ends, so many rooms with so much wealth ... it's overwhelming at times to think of how these people lived.

Beautiful! If you love museums and history. This is the place to be. Im not someone who reads through every single thing, but I loved walking through all the rooms. Such beautiful work and Amazing to see what it looked like years ago. The Theater room was somewhere else and was a bit difficult to find, but the people that work there are very kind and helpful. You can even give your bag or other belongings to someone who watches it while you walk through the museum.

Really good museum. The architecture was exquisite and the rooms were often described well. Some rooms were missing their descriptions, but other than that it was a fairly complete museum. The souvenir shop could expand its inventory a bit.

Pros: beautiful palace, absolutely huge with many many richly decorated rooms and A LOT of audio guiding, if you have the time to hear it all.

Cons: can’t pay with card, only cash ( in pandemic!!) despite having a machine; can’t book online, online on the spot; have to wear special mask, not just any mask you have; takes at least 2-3 hrs just for the main part

Great walk. The long tour will take 1 hr 40 minute. If u like to read every single word and examine every piece of collection, then expect duration of stay to hike up. Great experience for 8 euro (mid 2022 pricing, no theater).

Great value for the money! There’s so much to see. You could easily spend 3 hours here learning about the history and collection through the audio guide.
