What a fantastic option for staying in the heart of Munich. Just a few minute walk from all the big city attractions which made it the perfect place to call home for our few days. The hotel itself was authentic and lovely. The daily breakfast was massive and one of the most impressive I've ever seen. The rooms were a little dated and warm on hot summer nights, but otherwise it was an excellent place. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Munich.

The best location. Everything a tourist might need is within walking distance. While the hotel is in the middle of a busy centre, it was quite and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful, always offering water or apples on the way out and in. The breakfast had many options. I enjoyed my stay. The room cleaning could be a little better.

The hotel was perfect for us. Location was great, very central to everything. The hotel room was very clean and roomy. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you

We paid slightly more to have a larger room, with a large couch. The room was a good size with lots of windows and natural light. There was an espresso machine in the room and even an umbrella. Check-in was extremely friendly and flexible.
Breakfast had a full range of hot and cold dishes along with good service. The coffee was very average.
Reasonably priced food on room service and also a very limited range of food in the bar.

Staying for a night as our travel plans changed while on the move and really glad we chanced upon the Platzl Hotel. It’s conveniently located and a minute walk away from the main shopping street, rooms are functional (great that the curtains are black out - our previous hotels weren’t! + they have air conditioning in the summer and provide some shampoo and conditioner). Also, Loretta was really lovely and welcoming to us while we were checking in. Would totally recommend!

The hotel is perfectly located - very central with lots of restaurants, bars, shops and tourist attractions within walking distance. All the staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. The rooms and hotel in general were very clean and well furnished. The rooms are small but it’s Europe so that’s not surprising - they’re spacious enough for their function. The beds were comfortable. You can control your room temperature, which was nice. The shower has great water pressure and the plumbing works well ???? Wi-Fi worked very well throughout the hotel. The breakfast was generous and varied. I highly recommend it.

I loved the hotel. The staff was super helpful and friendly. It's in a fantastic location but that means it may be a little loud outside. I only noticed it on our first night (Saturday). If that may be an issue book a room on the third floor or above.
