Very nice place. Breakfast is good (any kind of savory thing and sweets as well, plus bottomless juices). It is possible to reach Marienplatz in 5 minutes. The area is completely safe and close to the hotel it is possible to find a nice open air market. The staff is very kind and professional. No lift in the building.

Extremely convenient place, many attractions in walking distance. Booking.com has good deals so if you want to spend a day or two exploring Munich, this place would do!
Everyone at the reception is nice (especially Anita - I'm sorry if the name is wrong)
+1 for their breakfast buffet as well.

For one night all I wanted was a place to sleep. Clean and comfortable. Parking? Took me 45 minutes to find a spot. Parking is on the street. Found out after three fact there is a parking garage 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Great location- heart of Munich. Odd building- reception was in the kitchen which was weird. Price was very reasonable. They refrigerated some cheese we had bought to take home which was nice. Room was small but totally okay for 2 people. Breakfast room was very small and crowded- there was no place for us to sit so we couldn't eat.

We stayed here for 3 nights in late July.
The good:
- Location cannot be beat. You are in the heart of Munich, with all major attractions just a short walk away. If you are looking to be central on a budget, this is the place to be.
- Breakfast is actually pretty decent. There is a good variety and the food seemed fresh.
The bad:
- The hotel doesn’t really take guest requests into account. We specified in our booking that the weekend was a special one for us (we were celebrating a birthday) and asked to have a room with a decent view if possible. We also got a room that could either have twin beds or a full bed and we requested a full bed. Neither of these requests was honored and it seemed that the hotel did not even take note of our requests. Ultimately, this wasn’t a big deal, but it would have been nice for them to pay closer attention to our requests.
- The room we had was on the brink of disrepair. Our curtains were falling off. The furniture was beaten up and scuffed. The mirrors were at awkward heights, so that they reached either up to your chest, or were positioned at your forehead. It wasn’t exactly uncomfortable, but again, it gave the impression that no particular care was given to assure a guest’s comfort.
- There was a nest of pigeons cooing LOUDLY every morning. This, combined with the light flooding in due to the gaps in the curtains, made for poor sleep. Bring earplugs if you want to stay here.
The bottom line:
If you are travelling on a budget, this place is just fine. You’re the traveler who just wants to get in, drop off their stuff, and hit the town. Perfect. This is for you. But if comfort is important to you and will make or break your stay, this is NOT the place for you. We would definitely come back again, because we don’t care much about the downsides. But to some travelers, these may be deal-breakers.

The good part of this place would be the location - absolutely near the center of the city - and the size of the apartments, which are huge (we asked for a room for 3 people, and ours could easily host up to 6 people). Also, compared to other options nearby, it's quite cheap. However, you do trade some conveniences for that: there's no elevator (and all rooms are upstairs), and the Wi-Fi is paid: 3 € per day, and the signal is very bad. However, if you don't mind such things, it's a good place to stay.
