We stayed in a room for 4 people. The size of the room was very good, the beds were comfortable and clean. Everything was new and in good condition.
We were received by a nice lady when we arrived. She was polite and shared correct information. During the evening and night there is some other guy at the reception who was rude on 2 occasions. Which is not great for hospitality industry.
Would still recommend the place, it is best to ignore him and enjoy your stay.

Really just a place to sleep!!

Had to eat breakfast either outside or in the foyer today -all guests decided to breakfast at the same time.

Even after leaving "don't disturb" sign on door they still entered to clean room.

The location is the hotels strongest asset. It’s a 5 minute walk from the train station and that station is 40 minutes ride from the airport. But the real reason I was there was for the 5 minute walk to Oktoberfest. So convenient. The rooms are basic but very clean and the bathroom/toilet were also very clean. A definite good choice for a trip to the Wiese.

Good location nearby train station. The room was okay for the stay, a little bit outdated but still fine and clean. Didn't hear any noises from the street during the night (our room was on the back side) In the early morning didn't get any warm water in the shower, although waiting several minutes.
Good basic breakfast, the breakfast room is really small, so can get crowded quickly when many guests come at the same time.

Booked this room for proximity to city center and family accommodations. Understanding that it is a budget hotel, I was still disappointed with the room. The room itself was spacious enough for a family of four but it did not seem clean. A crooked old recliner was positioned by the door. The bathroom had a continuous smell of feces and neither the drain in the sink nor the shower would flow. Taking a shower meant standing in ankle deep water. There is no elevator at this location and the stairs were quite a hike made worse by the fact that a step on the first landing was of a different height than that others causing us to trip even though we were watching out for it. We had reserved parking when we booked the hotel but when we arrived we were told there were no more spaces and that we needed to park in the street. That was easy enough but we had to park two blocks away. The breakfast was ok but the breakfast areas were crammed into two small rooms on the ground floor.

The rooms at this place were comparable to other pension hotels, although it was pretty spacious. The day manager (female) is really sweet and helpful. However, the night manager (male) is pretty awful...unfortunately he was just mean. Because of the good access to HBF, this was a good stay - just avoid him if you can.

Room was clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was simple but delicious. Only downside is that the room isn't very soundproof and you can hear outside noises quite clearly, like cars, sirens and trams. But overall a very pleasant stay.
