It was my first time trying to use the health service in europe after 2 years living here. I was treated very badly by the older lady at the reception desk, and when I presented my krankenkasse card, they were suspicious that it was real because I have a German name and surname and I don't speak German.

Basically they did not give me any medical attention and sent me to another doctor in another part of the city.

Very professional and competent staff, and very short wait times on weekends for emergency room visits. Lots of parking and the first 1.5hrs are free. Unfortunately they have no orthopedic specialists, so for sport injuries better head over to the nearby Sana Clinic.

Decided to have surgery for prosthetic knee joints in Germany. Almost 10 years did not move independently, without a wand or crutches. I could not pass more than 100 meters because of pain. We found and contacted the clinic Krankenhaus Martha-Maria Halle-Dölau. They informed us about the cost, the order of treatment. We agreed, received an estimate from the clinic, and an estimate for the rehabilitation. The treatment was conducted very well, the doctors are the masters. The staff in the clinic is very good. The operation itself is complecated, and the recovery process is not fast. But I can already move by myself!

In Russia, such operations are not carried out, there is not yet expensive equipment. Even in Germany, this is considered a complicated operation, since the liver does not tolerate surgical interventions. Only a month has passed, and I have almost recovered, already working and should not follow strict diets. With gratitude I remember all the specialists in Germany. I wish everyone good health!

Ich bin positiv überrascht. Meine bisherigen Erfahrungen mit Krankenhäusern waren nicht gut aber hier wird man von Anfang bis zum Ende liebevoll behandelt. Ich hatte zu keinen Zeitpunkt ein schlechtes Gefühl und die Ärzte haben sich Zeit genommen, ausführlich informiert und auch abschließend noch gute Ratschläge mitgegeben. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich aber auch das Pflegepersonal, da es unglaublich liebe und auch lustige Personen waren die ihren Job gerne machen...und da ich ein kleines Sensibelchen bin hatten die lieben Damen trotz des stressigen Jobs immer liebe Worte für mich :)vielen lieben Dank an das großartige Team
