My little one has been suffering from pain in the stomach area for 4 weeks, he already had that half a year ago. The whole thing combined with a weight loss of about 8 kg and a family history.
The examinations by the family doctor and the (adult) gastroenterologist at our site have provided inflammation values, on the basis of which we should go to the hospital (emergency room) as soon as possible.
So far everything is normal and I'm not complaining about the waiting time (almost 3 hours between admission and the appearance of a doctor) in the Third Order, which is understandable if you show up without an appointment.
But what doesn't work at all is the following, superficial examination (not even an ultrasound!) by Mr. Dottore mag., who finally gives us the result "The patient is discharged in good general condition." sent home.
When the child was in acute pain, an appointment was made (September at the earliest, more likely October) in the day clinic, and admission to the hospital was not possible. And we should just eat cold things like ice cream or yoghurt, that would help, if necessary ibuprofen.

The following day we went to another clinic, the doctors there immediately pricked up their ears in view of the inflammation values u200bu200band the previous history. Within two days, ultrasound, gastroscopy and colonoscopy as well as MRI were carried out (no, we don't have private insurance) and a massively inflamed small intestine was diagnosed, suspected of Crohn's disease (where apparently you should NOT take ibuprofen!!). Ich bin eigentlich jemand, der versucht die positiven Dinge zu sehen, aber was mein Sohn und ich diese Woche erlebt haben, ist einfach nur traurig!
Mein Kleiner leidet seit 4 Wochen an Schmerzen im Bauchbereich, das hatte er vor einem halben Jahr schon einmal. Das Ganze verbunden mit einem Gewichtsverlust von ca. 8 kg und einer familiären Vorgeschichte.
Die Untersuchungen von Hausarzt und dem (Erwachsenen-)Gastroenterologen bei uns vor Ort haben Entzündungswerte geliefert, auf Grund derer wir schnellstmöglich (Notaufnahme) im Krankenhaus vorstellig werden sollten.
Soweit alles normal und ich beklage mich auch nicht über die Wartezeit (fast 3 h zwischen Aufnahme und dem Erscheinen eines Arztes) im Dritten Orden, das ist verständlich, wenn man ohne Termin aufschlägt.
Was aber gar nicht geht, ist die dann folgende, oberflächliche Untersuchung (nicht mal ein Ultraschall!) eines Herrn Dottore mag., der uns am Ende mit dem Befund "Patient wird in gutem Allgemeinzustand entlassen." heim geschickt hat.
Auf den Hinweis akuter Schmerzen des Kindes wurde auf eine Terminvereinbarung (frühestens September, eher Oktober) in der Tagesklinik verwiesen, eine stationäre Aufnahme sei nicht möglich. Und wir sollten doch einfach kalte Sachen wie Eiscreme oder Joghurt essen, das würde schon helfen, notfalls Ibuprofen.
Ortswechsel:
Am Folgetag wurden wir in einer anderen Klinik vorstellig, die Ärzte dort wurden angesichts der Entzündungswerte und der Vorgeschichte sofort hellhörig. Innerhalb von zwei Tagen wurden Ultraschall, Magen- und Darmspiegelung sowie MRT durchgeführt (nein wir sind nicht privat versichert) und ein massiv entzündeter Dünndarm diagnostiziert, Verdacht auf Morbus Crohn (wo man offenbar KEIN Ibuprofen nehmen soll!!). Aussage des Oberarztes: "Gut, das Sie nicht länger gewartet haben!"
Danke an das kompetente Klinikteam, aber halt nicht beim Dritten Orden!
