So relaxing to walk around the gardens on a nice day. The greenhouse has many different rooms to explore and there are also many flowers to see in spring.

What a wonderful time! Spent the whole day there and saw some very interesting plants. Wish that cards were accepted though.

Very informative, deserve a visit. the red berry is very tasty. Reminds me a lot of my childhood.

This place is definitely worth a visit, especially from December to March. That's when there are butterflies.
Besides that it isn't far from there to the Schloss Nymphenburg and the Museum of Man and Nature. That way it's possible to visit all three places in a single trip.
As a local I would say, that the botanical garden in Munich should be a must-see for every tourist.

Beautiful botanical garden, right next to the Nymphenburger castle which you can access from the south entrance. Really nice spot to relax and why not take a book for a little reading session under a tree.

One of the best!
Extremely well maintained. Clean, organized paths take you through the park. The plants themselves, are well presented and it a pleasure walking through the greenhouses.

I am not a huge fan of botanical gardens but the 'Tropical Butterflies' exhibition was amazing! You can also get some reasonably priced Hepatica Nobilis there...
