If I could give no stars, I would. This was without a doubt THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD IN A RESTAURANT OR CAFÉ IN ALL OF MY TIME IN MÜNCHEN.
They had redone the restaurant it seems, and new (and horribly cheap) tables were installed. I waited for a Latté Macchiato and when it came, my foot caught the base of the table. In most restaurants, this would not be a problem. Here, the table was so light and flimsy that it slid across the floor and my Latte went EVERYWHERE!!!! The waitress was clearly aware of this, yet minutes passed and she was nowhere to be found. I was utterly embarrassed and began to clean up the mess myself. They had no real supplies to do this, so I grabbed a towel off of a counter and used it to clean up the floor so that people could walk and not slip and fall. I also used all of the cheap, small paper napkins I could find and fully cleaned up the mess. At NO TIME did anyone offer to help.
Next, a surly man came up and in front of everyone started yelling in a strange German dialect or with a heavy non-German accent and accused me of ruining a towel!!!!!!! I asked for a bill twice and after seemingly forever, the lazy waitress came and presented the bill for Euro 6. She did not apologize or offer another coffee.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE, AND I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE ELSE TO LOOK ELSEWHERE. There is a very nice coffee/bakery literally across the street diagonal to this wretched place. GO THERE. I WISH I HAD.
