On a side street near the main rail station, the hotel is a short walk from the old town and central sights like Marienplatz. We loved the room (suite) which was large and with a new bathroom. Bath is large with a separate shower stall, large tub, two sinks. Good closets, large screen TV and lots of outlets. Beds were very comfortable. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent complementary breakfast (typical German plus eggs, bacon, pancakes, made to order omelets, etc). I was surprised by some of the negative reviews here and we had a the opposite experience.

I’ve stayed the last three nights in a modern well design single room that was very comfortable, quiet and with a terrific hot shower. Location is perfect for the main station and U and S Bahns.

Wanted to get a hotel close to the station to minimise walking. The usual culprits were not available so re-acquainted myself with the Drei Loewen. Stayed there quite some years ago and have positive memories of it. A smart hotel within walking distance of transport. The breakfast is stupendous with everything you can think of provided. My room on the top floor is quiet and comfortable. It has a new feel to it.

Hopeless service. I was travelling to Munich for a Business trip and was unfortunate enough to be put up in this Hotel. This Hotel has the first 3 floors providing air conditioned rooms and the the top two floors have rooms with damp smell and Table fans ( Unimaginable for the price paid for such rooms). Even if you pay a standard rate for the room, The hotel management decides whether you are given an AC or non AC room. Utterly ridiculous! I was put up in room on 5th floor and it had a wooden door for which a key was used for unlocking.

Other standard rooms in the hotel were provided with a card for locking and unlocking. I was unfortunate enough to be put up on the 5th floor. To my horror, the door of my room got locked and I was stranded outside . Pathetic service. My luggage got locked and I had to sleep in a different room for that night. To arrange an alternate room I had to literally fight with the management. I was without my luggage for that night and had a tough time to get the facilities from them. I would never recommend anyone to stay in this hotel if you are in Munich.

Great little hotel. So close to Railway station easy to walk with suitcases. Location is great for exploring. Staff very helpful and friendly. Defects fixed so quickly. The street is in a interesting area but very safe. Great ethnic mix if you do not like German food
My room is spotless. Linens and towels are first class great hot water and water pressure.

The location close to Hauptbahnhof is very convenient. The lobby is a great hangout for doing some quiet work and the rooms are very clean and modern. I’ve stayed over several days and the staff on reception are very good. I have had Caroline working on reception several times and she is a real credit to the hotel. Very competent and incredibly helpful and polite. Regardless of the workload she is under. The performance of the front desk staff at this hotel have a great deal on the impact of your stay and they are very good.
