If it weren’t for the INTIMIDATING, BULLYING RECEPTIONIST it could have been a nice stay in a great little hotel. Booked 4 nights (confirmed) but left, quite shocked, after 2 nights:
When asked why I wasn't informed that reception closes at 13:00 and of the arrangement made to enter the hotel on arrival (in the evening), the receptionist aggressively said he sent such an email. So, trying to ask to see the email (as none had been received), I was immediately and aggressively interrupted with a weird (and totally irrelevant) accusation that my son said I was sick (he never did) in an attempt to cancel the reservation.
Next morning was even worse. He asked if I wanted to book an extra night he "had managed to arrange", claiming I only had 3 nights confirmed. When trying to say I have the email confirming 4 nights, I was again immediately and aggressively interrupted by him. Trying to complete the sentence, I raised my voice a little, as his was much louder, so he started screaming he won't have it and I can leave if not happy.
My son had to leave everything and hurry over to protect me when checking out as I couldn't be sure if the receptionist was at all stable and wouldn't turn violent confronting me on my own, a woman much smaller and many years his senior. Seeing my son, he started to go on and on about how he tries to keep costumers happy even if they don't realise it... We paid and left quickly, rather shocked.
