Great Hotel and was perfect location for us.
Everything was very close or 1 stop away on the underground.
The hotel is very old style and dated with some antique furniture in the rooms. But the bed was superbly luxurious and the bedding and towels as well. Everything was clean and neat.
Reception staff and Manageress were extremely friendly and helpful.
Was able to get some sparkling water for the room early hours of the morning.
Check in process was 30 seconds. We had done online
Checkin, before and it worked perfectly. Such a
Pleasure to arrive and get your key to your room within 30 seconds. A record for me.
Will stay there again for sure.

I've been in Munich several times, but this is the best hotel I've stayed in: excellent price/quality ratio. First of all, very clean (and that's my priority). Perfect location, practically around the corner from full city center. Excellent breakfast. Shower and bathroom fully functional with absolute no problem whatsoever. The matrass and especially the pillow were extremely comfortable.
The only reason I don't give a 10 is the excessive heat during the night: although we completely turned off the radiators, the duvet was too much, and the wool covers too. It would have been great having a lighter fabric cover...I would have asked for it if our stay would have been longer. I didn't need it, but my friend would have appreciated a safe in the room.
Great job, keep it going, 'cause I intend to come back!!

Clean room, great location and friendly staff. One of the most sensibly priced hotels in its price range when we visited. Very happy with our choice. Cozy bar in the lounge.

Very nice hotel in the heart of old Munich and close to everything! Within Walking distance to Marienplatz, Oktoberfest, the local tram/bus lines, shopping and dining. Really an ideal location! This traditional (non-chain) hotel was a great find.
We traveled for pleasure and enjoyed our stay. Breakfast choices were very good as well. The rooms were very traditional and vintage; a bit small but it worked. The bathroom was small and lacked counterspace and washcloths.
Overall a great stay.

Nice enough rooms, pretty small but clean. Bed was a bit stiff. The staff was ok, not great. Construction next door made getting to it a bit difficult. Breakfast is not included in the price ($15 euros) and while I appreciated the diversity, it was still pretty basic and I would've rather spent that money at a local bakery. And if they fill up on parking spaces (which they did on a Tuesday morning) you have to pay for parking in a garage. The closest garage (3 blocks away) was $38 Euros for 24hrs. It was nice to be able to walk from the hotel to several restaurants and that the big plaza was only about 5 minutes walk away.

I stayed here for 3 nights for a long weekend in a single room. Everything was clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly. Location is amazing - less than 10 minutes walk from Marienplatz but also in an area close to many restaurants and quiet at night. I would stay here again.

The hotel is very well located, just behind the metro station which makes it very convenient as it is one stations from Marien Platz and one station from the main train station. The rooms are clean but basic. We had a room that gave on the main street. The view on the park on the other side was nice but it was quite noisy. The staff was OK; one older gentleman at the reception was quite friendly and helpful but his day shift counterpart was definitely not a peoples person. We did not get breakfast in the hotel as there are good alternatives nearby, especially since there are not mini fridge or kettle in the room. There was no safety deposit box either so we had to keep our passport and valuables in a locked suitcase. All in all, very good location but don't spend too much time in the hotel itself.
